INVESTMANT

ASSOCIATE.

【About the Associate】

 

We are looking for an Investment Associate to help us evaluate our investment opportunities and support our accelerator program. This individual will be working closely with our GPs and associates and can look forward to participating in each stage of the investment process. In addition, this individual will also have an opportunity to engage with industry leaders and physician advisors to help inform strategic decisions.
 

 

【Responsibilities】

 

​

  • Conducts due diligence evaluations and crafting our formal investment recommendations

  • Supports deal negotiation, winning the deal and closing.

  • Responsible post-investment activities, including closely monitoring cash flow and performance distribution analysis on existing investment portfolio

  • Supports our portfolio companies including but not limited to pitch feedback, financial modeling, business development, introductions to potential sales opportunities, or any other function where we can help.

  • Attends board meeting & management meetings for portfolio companies upon request

  • Assists fund operation and IR management, including delivering quarterly and annual fund reports and holding IR events.

【Qualifications】

​

  • 2-3 years of work experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity/venture capital, corporate development, or a healthcare startup.

  • A bachelor’s degree from a top-tier academic institution

  • Strong knowledge of investment process and due diligence process

  • Ability to prepare statistical reports and analyze financial reports

  • Good oral and written communication skills in Mandarin Chinese and English

  • Passion and curiosity for the Healthcare Industry

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Comfort in the startup environment​

 

【Ideal Candidate】

  • A desire and drive to learn about the venture capital industry, healthcare startups, and entrepreneurship.

  • Related experience in healthcare venture capitals

  • A strong intellectual curiosity and passion for healthcare investing

FINANCE

ASSISTANT.

【About the Finance Assistant】


We are looking for an Executive Assistant with accounting responsibilities to assist our funds and accelerator program. This individual will be working closely with our GPs and associates to provide strategic and operational support in all aspects of our finances. In addition, this individual will also have an opportunity to engage with startups to provide support to our investment operations.


【Responsibilities】

​

  • Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents; prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.

  • Documents financial transactions by entering account information.

  • Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.

  • Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

  • Files Business Tax (401) bi-monthly and withholding taxes; deals with the requests from the tax authority.

  • Assists Investment Portfolios to plan budgets and document transactions, if needed.

  • Prepares documents for auditors

  • Supports operation of the acceleration program


【Qualifications】

​​

  • At least 2 years of accounting firm experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in accounting or finance preferred

  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and practices including GAAP, SaaS accounting, prepaid expenses & accrued revenue, revenue recognition, and related fields.

  • Ability to prepare statistical reports and analyze financial reports

  • Strong knowledge of and experience with taxation processes

  • Comfort in the startup environment

  • A desire and drive to learn about the venture capital industry, healthcare startups, and entrepreneurship.

  • A strong intellectual curiosity and passion for healthcare investing

  • Big 4 accounting firm and VC or PE Fund accounting experience preferred

  • Related experience in fundraising or IPO companies

  • Related experience in healthcare industry
